Yes. We are not metering or charging for any usage during the public beta. Hard caps prevent abuse (max 5 databases, no GPU instances). When billing turns on, you'll get notice and a transition window.
Egress is billed at our cost plus a transparent margin. Ingress is free. We publish the exact per-GB rate per region and update it openly when our underlying network costs change.
No. You don't pay for our infrastructure to manage your workloads. You don't pay for replicas that scaled to zero. You don't pay for support tickets.
Indian customers will be billed with GST per the DPDP / GST framework. EU customers receive VAT-compliant invoices. Other jurisdictions: standard local tax handling.
We bill in arrears for usage tiers. You only pay for what you used. For annual licenses (Sovereign), refund terms are spelled out in the contract.
We'll show a clear in-product warning before any overage. You can hard-cap your account so it never bills past a threshold you set.
